This suncatcher craft made with rainbow colors reminds me of stained glass. But for lasting color, I recommend using kite paper instead of tissue paper. As of this update, this rainbow suncatcher craft tutorial by Dilly Dally Art is no longer available online, but you can attempt it yourself should you feel inclined. There is a picture of it you can see in the bottom left corner of the photo collage below. To make it, first color liquid gelatin and allow it to dry. Once it’s dry, cut the colored gelatin into thin strips.
Next, the colored gelatin can be strung together to make a gorgeous suncatcher craft in a rainbow of colors. I love the idea of making beautiful suncatchers with gelatin instead of plastic because the gelatin looks just as beautiful as cellophane. Good luck! You might also enjoy making flower Suncatchers.
