Keepsake and Jewelry Gifts for Mom
I don’t know about you, but I am a total sucker for special one of a kind jewelry and kid-made keepsakes.
My favorite piece of jewelry right now is a necklace that has my daughter’s artwork engraved on it. The perfect gift for any mom!
Another fun handmade necklace is a thumbprint heart necklace or a homemade mom necklace that the kids can also make for grandma or nana. You can also have them make a DIY mother-daughter jewelry gift set with matching necklaces or bracelets. Click the link for all the DIY details!
Other beautiful personalized necklace options (that I would love) are:
Another item that has been on my wishlist forever is a pair of diamond stud earrings. (Are you paying attention husband?)
Comfy & Cute Gifts for Mom
Wrap mom up in this large tartan blanket scarf and watch her drift away to happy land. A staple for every woman’s closet.
As a work at home mom that was once a yoga teacher, I just can’t do without my favorite yoga pants and my membership to Gaia Yoga (not affiliated–just sharing what I love). These crop pants and capris are also a must-have in multiple colors for this mom.
Speaking of yoga pants, fun graphics are super popular these days. My favorites are these fireworks yoga photo leggings and twilight yoga photo capris! There are lots of other super cute options available. You must click through to see them all!
A few years ago I found a pair of booties like these ladies sweater knit booties and my winter home life was forever transformed. I like to be able to go outside without ruining my slippers when I need to grab something out of the garden.
For the winter I want the new loves of my life to be a cashmere robe, and a pair of cashmere pajamas. Oh, and of course I would like to own at least one cashmere sweater and a cashmere scarf to go with it. I must have them all!
If mom likes cute and casual, she will love this hoodie. I own three and I would still like another one! They are fashionable, made to last, come with all sorts of bells and whistles to keep warm on the go, and fit to flatter anybody!
The wardrobe staple that I love and wear more than anything I own is this down sweater vest. I seriously don’t know how I ever lived without it. It’s great for heading to the park or store, going out on the town, going for a bike ride, hiking, and camping.
I’ve had mine for 6 years and it still looks brand new. It has not worn out, torn, or become stained. Did I mention that I’m a mom? It is by far the most used outerwear I have ever owned. The sweater jacket is equally awesome and makes a great windbreaker!

Kitchen Gift ideas for Mom
The best thing that ever happened to me in the kitchen was when I found this cook and pour saucepan! Its brilliant design allows you to pour water out while still in the pan without losing the contents. No colander needed! Its brilliant design makes it super easy to steam vegetables and cook mac and cheese for the little ones.
Another one of my favorite things in the kitchen that I use daily is an electric kettle with pre-set temperature options–love! I like to know that I am heating water to the correct temperature for the various types of teas I like to enjoy.
My favorite teapot is this durable cast iron teapot with a fully enameled interior. The gradual and even heating from the cast iron infuses the greatest amount of flavor from the tea leaves into the water. Not only does this strengthen the flavor of the tea, but any positive nutrients the leaves contain are also infused into the water.
I also love to use this handy kettle to heat water to pour into a stainless steel french press with coffee beans right out of this awesome coffee grinder. Mmm… mmm good! And here’s an 18oz coffee mug that mom is sure to love! Trust me… mom needs more than 12 ounces.
I have been dreaming of owning a Vitamix Blender for many years now. It doesn’t come cheap, but it is the very best of the best and I must have one. As someone who likes to cook from scratch and make daily green smoothies this is a must have that is still on my wishlist!
Another item I have always dreamed of owning is a stand mixer. These are powerful enough for nearly any task or recipe, whether you’re stirring wet and dry ingredients together, kneading bread dough or whipping cream.
Gift Ideas for Mom on the Go
When on the go there are four things I must have besides my wallet, phone, and keys:
- A nice looking mom bag that is as practical at the park as it is for date night, with lots of room for this and that.
- A large reusable insulated mug with a cafe’ cap for coffee and/or tea. It works great for cold drinks too!
- A styling food grade steel reusable water bottle. Click through to see the other sizes and styles to choose from.
- The best lip stuff on earth! As a woman that was an ocean lifeguard for 20 years, I have tried my fair share of chapstick varieties. This is the only one that keeps my lips feeling soft and supple morning, noon and night indoors and out. My one and only true lip love… The perfect item for moms stocking!
Relaxation Gift Ideas for Mom to Help Her Relieve Stress
I would not be able to survive motherhood without my Kindle. I can’t tell you how many books I have read one-handed while breastfeeding over the years. It even has it’s own light so you can read in the dark without disturbing the snoring bear next to you on those nights you just can’t sleep.
The warm glow and negative ions that a Himalayan Salt Lamp provides is also a must-have in our home. We have 4 in our house!
- Good Vibes Coloring Book
- Designs Stress Relief Coloring Book

Another favorite gift idea for mom is a gift certificate to spend the day at a local spa or a membership to a gym or yoga studio she’s been wanting to try. Even better… send her away to a spa for the weekend.
