Hi Melissa! Thank you for sharing. Yes, you can also mix beads that you want to be the same color in a baggie and many other containers, and we have updated this DIY tutorial to reflect that. However, we like using glass best because it’s a more sustainable, reusable natural resource, and of course recommend that others do the same. However, for some DIY bead projects, using a bag to color or paint wooden beads can be easier. So, of course, you are welcome to use the supplies you prefer or whatever you have available.
